"From.... (2001: A Space Odyssey 1968) To... (2010 1984) Gap between movies : 16 years Was it worth the wait ? : That's a difficult one. Everyone seems to agree that the 2nd movie is not as good as the legendary 1st installment, obviously, but this sequel was actually decent. It was still rather useless though. "Reason for the future sucking: Is it a good or bad idea, to have life support regulated by a free thinking, super intelligent computer? Turns out the answer is, yes, It is a bad idea, to have life support regulated by a free thinking, super intelligent computer. Year it takes place: 2010, obviously. "

" First Viewing Viewing Date: January 19th Via: Tubi (via VPN) Plot: A joint USA-Soviet expedition is sent to Jupiter to learn exactly what happened to the "Discovery" and its H.A.L. 9000 computer. Rating: 7.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? I wasn't interested in this film for years as I assumed it was bad, but I was intrigued after seeing the positive IMDb and that the director was Peter Hyams, plus it has a great cast. After seeing a Critical Drinker video that recommended it, I found it on Tubi an"
