Poses should look effortless even when they aren't.

I like the way this one accentuates the garment sleeve.
There's no way she could hold this one though.
The photographer just had to make sure they got it.

I've seen alot of these "running" poses
and some models do them very well
but this one looks really awkward and strange.

Photographers pose models in lots of unique poses. Sometimes it's for interest or variety and other times it's to better show off the garment. Sometimes they snap the picture mid jump or mid movement. Sometimes they turn out beautiful but sometimes it just comes out a little weird and awkward.
