This film is well, fantastic. The actors do an outstanding job and the pace of the film is really good and doesn't felt dragged out in any parts and its directed by my favourite director, Stanley Kubrick.
Superb film.
Superb film.
Dav1d's rating:

This film, like Lethal Weapon just has a perfect blend of action and humour and I watch it all the time, its my addiction.

Dav1d's rating:

Scarface (1983)
This movie was so intense the first time I saw it, but at the end I felt Al Pacino delivered a wonderful performance in an overall fantastic film.
Dav1d's rating:

Batman (1989)
Theres no question, I love Batman and this one is really well done, I love the look of Gotham City and Micheal Keaton potrays Batman really well.
Dav1d's rating:

The Terminator (1984)
This is one movie that is really something special and I thought when I first saw it, I was terrified of the Terminator character as a child, the first scene I remember seeing is when he gouged his eyes out into the sink.
Dav1d's rating:

Beetlejuice (1988)
Micheal Keaton gives an excellent performance in this movie, though he doesn't get much screen time and this movie was wacky and watching it as a child I loved this movie a bunch.
Dav1d's rating:

This film was something, when I first saw it I thought it was really entertaining and action packed and had witty humour and is a fun film to enjoy.
Dav1d's rating:

Back to the Future (1985)
Theres not much that can be said about this film, except that its a real exceptional and fun movie.
Dav1d's rating:

Rocky IV (1985)
This movie for me gets me really pumped, particularly during the training montage and I think though its finish is a tad predictable and alike to the previous films that it delivers another fun story and I find its always good for a watch.
Dav1d's rating:

Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)
This movie was over the top and hillarious and I felt sympathetic towards John Candys character and think him and Steven Martin played really well off one another.
Dav1d's rating:

The Karate Kid (1984)
Such an inspiring film for me, but unlike Rocky IV I could really relate more to Daniel, I love all three of the films, but feel this one is definately the best and its a real good watch.
Dav1d's rating:

I first saw this movie in primary school and fell in love with it and how different it was to every other childrens story out there and I still enjoy it as much as a child and can watch it over and over.
Dav1d's rating:

Ghostbusters (1984)
Who ya gonna call?
Damn right, this movie was one of my favourites to come out of the 80's and also one of the funniest.

Dav1d's rating:

The Road Warrior (1981)
The end scene of this movie, is just wow, no words to describe it but this movie is absolutely brilliant and the final scene made car action scenes more interesting for me, then any other movie possibly has.
Dav1d's rating:

The Lost Boys (1987)
One of my favourite Vampire movies, though I haven't actually seen the Lost Boys 2, I haven't been hearing too many good things about it, I love this one however and think its a new take on the vampire.
Dav1d's rating:

Predator (1987)
I really need to get this film on dvd as well, I absolutely love it and its such a fantastic movie, I was scared to death of the predator as a kid, but its great now.
Dav1d's rating:

Superman II (1980)
When I think of the Superman movies I think about this one straight away, the characters are more developed and Christopher Reeves delivers another solid performance as the Man of Steel
Dav1d's rating:

A View to a Kill (1985)
Not my favourite James Bond movie, but certainly one of the better Roger Moore ones, I definately like Christopher Walken's role and think it is a decent movie.
Dav1d's rating:

Teen Wolf (1985)
Micheal J. Fox is amazing to me, I love his movies and find him to be a real inspirational person and this particular movie was one I was very fond of watching growing up, along with watching back to the future.
Dav1d's rating:

The Burbs (1989)
I don't own this one on dvd, but everytime I know its on television, I make sure to watch it, its not the best movie but its definately a memorable one for me.
Dav1d's rating:

A list of majority of my favourite films from the 80's, any that I forgot, simply slipped my mind, but these are the ones I own and are most memorable for me when I think of movies from the 80's. E.T isn't here, but thats because I don't own it.
