My Pick: Inception
There is nothing wrong with this one, actually I did like it very much, but the best film of the year....I am not quite sure.
santanu's rating:
Inception (2010)
By far this one was the best film of 2010. It blew my head completely.

The Hurt Locker (2008)
The film at best was good in patches. In totality it drags too much in places.
santanu's rating:
Inglourious Basterds (2009)
It was a delight to watch. The long interrogation sessions were too much to handle and Tarantino's quirky direction took the film to an another level.

I can't even stand this one and the fact that I belong to the same place the movie is based upon, it failed to move me.
santanu's rating:
The Dark Knight (2008)
This one did not even bag the nomination and to me this will be one of the ten best films of the decade.

The Oscars were dead right this time. No Country for Old Men was too good to ignore.
santanu's rating:
I liked this one very much, but by no means it could have won when in competition with No Country for Old Men.

Atlast a small time director(!) named Martin Scorsese bagged an Oscar!!! Though it wasn't among his best but still it was good enough to grab the Oscar.
