Hidden Fantasy World

The film follows a travelling theatre troupe whose leader, having made a bet with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations and present them with a choice between self-fulfilling enlightenment or gratifying ignorance.

Dorothy lives on a farm in Kansas until a cyclone arrives, and picks her, her house, and her dog up and deposits them in the land of Oz. Things in Oz are strange and beautiful, but Dorothy just wants to get back home.

Bastian steals a book from the library and begins to read it in the school attic where he is drawn into the mythical land of Fantasia, which desperately needs a hero to save it from destruction.

After being trapped in a jungle board game for 26 years, a Man-Child wins his release from the game. But, no sooner has he arrived that he is forced to play again, and this time sets the creatures of the jungle loose on the city. Now it is up to him to stop them.

"The Cat Returns" involves traveling to another world, inhabited only by cats, but cats that talk, dance, and act much like humans. The girl in the story must rely on The Baron, the cat figurine that comes to life and is voiced by Cary Elwes, to rescue her from the world so she doesn't turn into a cat permanently.

The young girl in "Pan's Labyrinth" finds a strange, dark world with fairy tales creatures... While the girl continues to visit the fantasy world, her real life become scarier, and the strange world starts to feel more like home and the safest place to be.

When Coraline moves to an old house, she feels bored and neglected by her parents. She finds a hidden door with a bricked up passage. During the night, she crosses the passage and finds a parallel world where everybody has buttons instead of eyes, with caring parents and all her dreams coming true.

Jack Deebs is a cartoonist who made cartoon named "Cool World". What Jack did't realize is that Cool World really does exist, and a "doodle" scientist has just perfected a machine which links Cool World with our world...

The story follows a young woman and her father after they are transported from Manhattan, New York, through a magical mirror into a parallel world of fairy tales, magical beings, etc...

This one goes in another direction: Evil Narissa pushes princess Giselle to well and sends her from the cartoon world to the real live-action world of Earth, because the portal from the cartoon world was located at the sewer of the road at New York City's Times Square.

While the kids were playing hide-and-seek out of boredom, Lucy discovers a wardrobe and, to her surprise, she enters a wintry fantasy world called Narnia.

Curious girl falls down a hole in the garden after spotting and following an unusual rabbit. After that she finds herself in a strange and surreal place called "Underland"...

Portals appears a lot in this series. They can be open if protagonists use magic bean, magic well, mirrors, and lots of other stuff...
