I used to think not a lot of people knew about this film. Listal proved me wrong as I've seen this film on a lot of people's Listal lists for favorite movies, foreign films, etc. I didn't know a comedy about the Holocaust could be popular and acclaimed. But I shouldn't be talking considering I love this film.

I see this movie on a lot of favorite lists. Weird that I see this movie more on people's lists after I saw a specific Listal list that basically spoiled this movie for me and just seeing this film on a list just remind me that I was spoiled. This list isn't helping, either. I guess it must be a really great film to see this on a lot of people's lists. I can already tell from Hugo that Scorsese is a masterful director, I can't wait to check out more of his good films.

I actually see this movie on a lot of best movie and overrated movie lists. I think I'm in the latter side. Although I do appreciate this film and don't regret the experience, I found this film kind of boring and too plotless to enjoy IMO. So whether you like or dislike this film, you probably put it in your list at one point (I know I did).

This is not just a movie that appear on a lot of lists but it is one of those films that nearly EVERYBODY talks about online. Pretty much every major filmlover has seen this movie... except me. I am still waiting for that right moment to finally watch this movie. Then, I'll decide whether this film lives to its massive hype or I'll have a major feeling of hype backlash. Only time will tell...

This is another one of those films that EVERYONE talks about and I can understand why. This is not just one of the best superhero movies but one of the best films. I admit it is not one of my personal favorites and I think the plot has its flaws. I can see why so many people are so serious about this film to put it on so many dang Listal lists.

Blade Runner (1982)
Lists: 771
This is one of the most critically-praised movies of all time. This is a film that is on the very top of the "Movies I Want To See" list. So, it is not completely shocking that this movie would appear on many people's Listal lists. Seriously, it is kind of hard to come up with descriptions for these things without writing the same stuff established in the past passages. Let's see... been on a lot of favorite lists, classic film I wanna check out, hope it doesn't disappoint... yeah, can't think of anything else. Seriously, the more I see this movie on a bunch of people's lists the more I wanna see it but like Pulp Fiction, I am just waiting for the perfect moment to see this film and maybe make me see the world in a whole new different way.

Whether it is to praise this film or to praise the character of Patrick Bateman. It seems a lot of people like putting this movie on their lists. Another beloved film I haven't gotten the chance to see yet but I definitely plan on it.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY
Lists: 1035 (TFOTR), 775 (TTT), 911 (TROTK), 2721 (ALL)
One of the most popular film trilogies of all time. It is no surprise that all three of these films have appeared on a lot of Listal lists. Despite their long length, many people were still engaged from its great charaters and epic action set-pieces. I am using the film with the most lists (The Fellowship of the Ring) to represent the whole franchise and because it is my favorite of the three.

Whether it's a favorites list, best movies ever list, trippy mindf**k list, or best romance list, this movie has definitely made an impact on a lot of users on Listal. It certainly did leave a impact on me as one of my favorite movies of all time. As a fan of Jim Carrey's early work when I was younger, I was definitely surprised to see Jim Carrey successfully branch out some seriously good dramatic material. Managing supply enjoyable goofy comedies and more serious thought-provoking drama, despite the disbelief people had at the start of his career. Jim Carrey has proved himself to be a pretty prolific and great actor. This is just a great film that is constantly put into lists for a reason.

THE TOY STORY TRILOGY
Lists: 711 (TS), 460 (TS2), 693 (TS3), 1864 (ALL)
Seriously, who has not seen and loved these films? Even the most bitter cynical bastard can love the heartwarming and lovable energy that lies in this amazing trilogy of films. Seriously, all three of these films are cinematic masterpieces of animation and were the films that really brought us the spectacular studio of Pixar that would keep giving out more and more beloved animated films. Seriously, everything in these series work beautifully: the lovable characters, the clever writing, the unbelievably emotional story. These toys feel more human than many human characters in films. One of the genius things about this film is taking something that nearly everyone has had during their childhood, toys, and really taking advantage of the limitless possibilities for stories, jokes, and emotions that can come with having these kinds of characters in the center stage of the film. From the playtime spent as a kid to the eventual abandonment as an adult, the story that is told through these toys really says a lot about life itself. It can make you laugh, warm your heart, and shed plenty of tears. Seriously, this is a perfect trilogy of films and it is no wonder that they are praised by so many on this site.

Donnie Darko (2001)

I have no idea what this movie is about. Sometimes, I hear it is about this creepy rabbit guy, other times I hear it's about the apocalypse, then I hear it is about time travel. This thing has been sitting on my Netflix IQ for a while and I plan on watching eventually. I can't wait to finally understand what this film is about (although, I hear that it won't be the easiest task). Still, I constantly notice this apparent cult-classic on a variety of different lists (mostly favorite lists, science-fiction film lists, or apocalypse movie lists). I can't wait to understand the un-understandable.

Whether people regard it as a modern beloved classic or a horribly overrated film with terrible values, a lot of people like talking about this 142-minute epic starring Tom Hanks in yet another Oscar-winning role. I will say that the soundtrack for this film is a great compilation of classic songs that goes along with the Reservoir Dogs and Guardians of the Galaxy soundtracks as some of the best I've ever listened to.

Having spent a lot of time on this site checking out people's lists, I often found a recurring movies that I see a large amount of people's Listal lists. No matter the subject or topic (favorite movies, trivia, posters that told the truth, movie journals, etc.) I just see these films on a lot of people's Listal lists.
Seriously, I am getting sick of seeing these movies on so many dang lists. You should honestly flame the next person that puts any of these films on their list... Wait?!?
This is a in-progress list where more movies will be added the more I notice on Listal. Comment below and suggest movies that you see constantly on Listal that could possibly to ultimately make a list that embodies the movies you see constantly on Listal lists.
