The tree main characters, the good, the bad and the ugly, are all perfectly cast.
Clint Eastwood as the Good; 'The man with no name' or 'Blondie'.
Lee Van Cleef as the Bad; Angle Eyes
and Eli Wallach as the Ugly; Tuco.
"You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig."

This is the trilogy that got Clint Eastwood so well known and stamped his place as one of the greatest stars of the western genre. Even in this 3 hour film I was kept entertained for the entire picture, not just with action and gun fights, but comedy and anticipation.
"Two hundred thousand dollars is a lot of money. We're gonna have to earn it."
Cue epic standoff scene..

Gran Torino (2008)
"Ever notice how you come across somebody once in a while you shouldn't have fucked with? That's me."

He starts off completely racist but evolves to start liking the family next door and even helps them out a few times, sometimes without wanting to. The film follows this journey of his and shows how his opinions change as he trains next doors son to be a man and he eventually gives everything he has to make the neighbourhood a better place.
"I blow a hole in your face and then I go in the house and I sleep like a baby. You can count on that. We used to stack fucks like you five feet high in Korea, use ya for sandbags."

Unforgiven (1992)

Clints character is revealed to be one of the most dangerous and notorious killers known. The film shows how he begins to re-pick up his old ways for one last payment and constantly hints at how bad he used to be, which creates a great atmostphere around the character, just like most characters he portrays.
"That's right. I've killed women and children. I've killed just about everything that walks or crawled at one time or another. And I'm here to kill you, Little Bill, for what you did to Ned."
Cue intense gun fight and epic rain scene...

"All right, I'm coming out. Any man I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any sumbitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down."
FG93's rating:

"I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

Other thans the great quote above, I think my favourite moment in this film has to be either when Harry chops down the bad guy with a single shot as he is trying to escape across a football field or when Harry is asked how can they know he didn't beat up the bad guy, upon seeing the picture of his beaten face, he just barks:
"Cause he looks too damn good, that's how!"
This is my favourite of the franchise, it's packed full of action, some laughs and a lot of ass kicking in typical Clint Eastwood style!

My short Review
FG93's rating:

The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)
"Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas, sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches."

He's out for revenge against the people who murdered his family and left him for dead, he will stop at nothing until he gets his payback. He picks up a few companions along his journey, including; Chief Dan George as Lone Watie; a badass indian and Sondra Locke as Laura Lee, who he saved from bandits.
"Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is."

Others I've seen

Want to see
Clint Eastwood, Jr. is a film actor, director, producer and composer!
He was born 31st May 1930
I can't believe I've only seen 10 of his movies o.O
Got loads of them on my 'to watch' list though so it's all good, although the top 5 probably wont change, they're all too good!
*Note* for the top 5 I wanted to include a film from a different franchise, so not just all 3 of the dollars trilogy :)
**Also I would very much appreciate your recommendations on what film of his to watch next! :)
