Finally got to see this classic wartime noir. It's deserving of a classic, even if not a great film. Too much of it seemed like it was kin to "Casablanca". The chemistry of Bacall and Bogart is quite evident and understandable they returned as a team several more times. The writing was snappy and story engaging. The film quality was a little disappointing and editing sometimes shabby. But very glad I saw it finally!
