Quickly established as Denmark’s premier Death/Thrash act in the international underground, signed to Progress for a multi album deal following the release of the MCD “Stranded” in 1992, released debut “S.A.D.” in 1993 to world wide acclaim, laying the foundation for the Heavy Metal subterm Death’n’roll, and touring extensively in Europe and in the States.
Three best albums in my opinion:
(1996 - present)
Melodic Death/Gothic Metal. The band name means in english "Supreme by Mind". The music on the album is best described as melodic death/black metal with very catchy parts and interaction between the guitars and the keyboard. The title and artwork refers to the lyrical concept on the album, which is mainly about self-deception and illusions of life, and each of the lyrics represents a fragment of some person’s now withered dream.

Was formed by members and ex-members from Compos
Mentis, Slugs, Adversary, and Demolition Inc. with the clear intention of rising to the upper echelon of the Danish metal scene and despite the short lifespan the band has already attracted a lot of attention.

Since the beginning of the 90’s Illdisposed have been one of the top bands of the Nordic death metal scene and have released 9 albums. Not denying their death metal roots their brand new offering “The Prestige” will meet all expectations. However, Illdisposed have also developed their own form of death metal with groovy rhythms, melodic but still hard hitting riffs, a massive wall of sound with an aggressive vocal in focus.
Three best albums in my opinion:

(1991 - 2001)
Brutal Death/Black Metal. They released one single, two demos and four albums, each differing in style. When the band split up after their last album , some of the members founded Volbeat, named after the Dominus album Vol.Beat.
Three best albums in my opinion:
Aalborg, Denmark (1998 – present)
Music is a fusion between metalcore, melodic death metal, industrial metal and progressive metal, with additional elements of thrash metal and groove metal, to form a style the band themselves have described as “future fusion metal.” Named as one of Metallica’s favorite bands, they have opened for Metallica in Europe both in 2007 and 2008.
Three best albums in my opinion:

Formed by ex-members of The Downward Candidate and Hatesphere. They released their debut album “Until We Are Outnumbered” in 2010. The Kandidate released their second album: “Facing the Imminent Prospect of Death” in January 2012.
