Bulbasaur

Bulbasaur is so cute that it's a shame, and disappointment that he evolves into something terribly ugly and very far from charming.
If you don't think he is cute, then you're off my friends list! You have been warned!
Chatot

Chatot is by & far the most beautiful Pokemon I've ever seen. Designed from two music notes and minimal colours, Chatot is very easy to the eye and one of the only 3-or-4 Pokemon I would love to have!
I mean, just look at it!
Duplicate (2006)
Combee

Honestly speaking, I don't think Combee are part of the official Pokemon list because of how different they look. They look like as if they belong to another franchise.
Anyway, this is the most original design I've ever seen!
Cubone

Cubone is one of the earliest Pokemon I ever saw and one of the few I grew up with. I like the simple design on it. Is it me or does Cubone look like a small, aspiring child eager to prove himself worthy by following the footsteps of his favourite hero. Does it?
Cartoons on Tour (1915)
Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff would very well be Kirby's elder sister. Anyway, this design is been there, done that but the overall result is cute. Too cute, in my opinion!
Cartoons Ain't Human (1943)
Houndour

Nothing fancy here, just a dog with a skull on top and bones on the back. But the way it's executed is what made it come to my list!
Onix

Frankly speaking, I've always found Onix to be very ugly looking. I guess he represents the tough, muscular actors who were once big-names in the 80's (you know who I'm talking about) but despite all that, I just couldn't ignore him.
Simple design but very powerful at the same time!
Poliwhirl

Disagree, or agree, all you want to but I consider Poliwhirl's to be the perfect design ever. Yes, that's right! Nothing intricate, but nothing simple either. He is, in my opinion, the most, or one of the, perfectly designed Pokemon!
The only Pokemon I wish I had designed. I simply love it!
Pokemon - Mewtwo Returns (2000)
Regirock

One of the disturbing Pokemon, the character design is nothing to sneeze at. He should appear in a horror movie of his own!
Bride of the Monster (1955) (1958)
Squirtle

Squirtle is cute, cute, CUTEH! Many Pokemon are cute but this one makes you jelly all over!
The colour-scheme is arguably one of the best!
Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971)
Wurmple

How did this worm crawl in to my list? Wurmple (such a cute name) is not bad for a crawler and even though I wouldn't want him near my desk, I would love to see him, or them (if there are that many) crawling around the vicinity.
They're not dangerous, are they?
The Pokemon are very interesting characters. Not knowing about much of their powers and all, I found most of them to be quite beautiful, most to be tough and intimidating and others just plain ugly, something better handled with a 20 ft. stick.
So, I did not select them by their powers / abilities or roles they play in the universe but rather by their appearances because if I take time to play the games I will be somewhere around 55 before I get through them all, so I'm starting early!
Categorized alphabetically!
(that means, no order)
So, why 50? Because I couldn't get to 100! I only manages to get 97, and I don't take stopping at such odd, unusual numbers, so I settled for 50.
Please tell me there are 649 Pokemon right? Because if there are more, I'm sending myself to outer space...
