Dolores Del Río and Cedric Gibbons in the magnificent Art Deco home he built for her at 757 Kingman Avenue, Santa Monica, during the 1930s which still looks just as beautiful today. Last two images by Max Kim-Bee via the Veranda website.
Allegedly Gibbons and Del Rio possessed their own bedrooms on separate floors, but a secret staircase led from one dressing room to the other, and Del Río’s dressing room also featured a trap door that opened to the stairs.
