Following the success of the two previous installments, it was pretty obvious that they would round this up with a trilogy. Unfortunately, it was easily the least entertaining movie of this franchise. I mean, once again, you get the same tired old jokes and Austin Powers is really getting obnoxious. They tried to be clever by giving Beyoncรฉ the female lead part which wasn't actually a bad idea but she was not really a match to Heather Graham or Elizabeth Hurley. The story, once again, revolves around time travelling but they should have tried something else. There are numerous cameos but they didn't add much to the story, I'm afraid. The only thing that I really enjoyed was Michael Caine, portraying Austin Powers' father. Caine was, as usual, just great and really hilarious but, a part from him, I didn't enjoy this much. To conclude, I think Austin Powers was only interesting for one movie and became a victim of his own success, it was a rather average sequel and it is not really worth a look, expect maybe if you are a huge fan of this character.
