Having only watched the pilot so far, I can say, this is a half decent show (so far). I love Nancy Travis, Tim Allen grew on me after a long time (I refused to watch "Home Improvement" for a long time, then caught it in re-runs). Add in Hector Elizondo, who is a long-standing, well known, familiar face, and that's a solid basis for this cast.
The actresses playing the daughters, I honestly don't care for. The only one I like so far is Kaitlyn Deaver. The other two are just dull/flat. Solid start to the show, hope it gets to keep running. This time, Tim Allen is surrounded by daughters, instead of sons, and he still does a job that a manly man would do, and it's, yes, on ABC. Guess they had a good thing going the first time around, made a few tweaks, and are hoping it will still hold up this time around!
I kind of hope it does too. It's a good show to fill the time with, not one I see myself re-watching, or owning, but good to sit down and watch, enjoy, and then move on to something else :)
