Born and raised in Toronto, Tamara Almeida is of Chilean and Ecuadorian descent. She took an interest in the arts from an early age, after seeing The Phantom of the Opera for the first time at age 5. She participated in various school productions, with her first being the role of Annie at age 10.
Once out of school, she began working in sales, finding great success and receiving various accolades for her work.
