Sagvan Tofi (born September 7, 1964 in Prague) is a Czech actor, singer, and model. He is half-Kurdish on his father's side. He is the author of the musicals Children of Paradise and Time of Roses.
His father is an Iraqi Kurd and his mother is Czech, they met during his studies in Czechoslovakia. Sagvan Tofi lived in Iraq as a child. His parents divorced after a few years, his stepfather was a criminalist Miloslav Dočekal, who introduced him to acting through his friend Jiří Kodet.
