Ray Kellogg was an American special effects artist, film director and screenwriter, not to be confused with actor Ray Kellogg (1919โ1981). He was best known for co-directing "The Green Berets" (1968) with John Wayne. Kellogg also served in World War II as a lieutenant in the United States Navy with the Office of Strategic Services' Field Photographing Branch. One of his assignments was covering the Nuremberg Trials, filming much of the footage used in documentaries of the event.
