Aline Duran was born in 1982 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a Brazilian reggae singer and songwriter. From an early in her career she focused on Jamaican music, particularly reggae and ska. She started her musical career in 2003 by participating in various shows and cultural events in her hometown, such as Grito Cultural (Cultural Cry). She also played, Compass by a band of music festivals, which Humaitá Pra Peixe in Rio de Janeiro and Gas Festival.
