Vanessa is a song performed, written and produced by Canadian musician Grimes. Vanessa is included in her split album with d'Eon and extended play Darkbloom. The song has a length of 5:24 and was released as a promotional single for the EP. Grimes said in her 2012 Dazed cover story that the whole point of Vanessa was to write a pop song, and for that reason she considers it "empty" and says she hates the song.
