Description:
No band's name more belies their sound than Fuck's. The hardcore moniker hides the fact that these guys write original, beautiful, and tuneful songs. The instrumentation is usually spare and understated, though occasionally supported with a flourish of strings ("Compromise"), a kazoo ("Raggy Rag"), or an alarm clock ("Li'l Hilda") to fill in the space created by the loping tempos. The vocals are less sung than whispered, and often a song will wander along for a time before there's any hint of a chorus or verse (as in "One Lb of In").
