Two CD set.2008, Re-Issue and Re-Mastered version of all previous demo tapes, including 'Death Fiend' and 'Satanic Rites') Hellhammer was an early-1980s black metal band from Switzerland who were popular in the underground scene in the mid-1980s. They were a vital influence on Black Metal, Death Metal and Doom Metal, although their sound is most accurately described as mid-paced, Black Metal. Members went on to form the influential band Celtic Frost. 14 tracks.
