The 99 Most Essential Baroque Masterpieces

At 99 tracks for under a couple bucks, this is a tremendous buy for the casual listener looking for a whole lot of Baroque classical pieces in one swoop for not much of an investment. None of the artists are well known, and many of them are Eastern European performers, and nothing here is a definitive rendition of any of these compositions, but for the price, this is a nice introduction to Baroque music. Call it a starter kit.
