" DVD- 1hr. 56min. First Viewing The tone is fairly messy, it goes from broad comedy to melancholy drama, and script doesn't really distinguish itself from other relationship dramedies, but Cafe Society does often work thanks to an effective cast and beautiful production design. Eisenberg and Stewart continue to elicit genuine chemistry (this is their third film together), and so many of the winning moments from the film are due to their work(the supporting cast is strong too, but none get the mo"

"17/7/17 If you didn't know this was a Woody Allen film, you'd know this was a Woody Allen film. Jessie Eisenberg stars as a New Yorker wanting to find a new life in LA but instead falls for Kristen Stewart, who just happens to have a secret that sends him back to New York to become a star of the cafe society. Very slight Allen affair with his usual traits but not as many laughs. "

"Sets are beautifully crafted and acting is fancy. I also have to mention about the lighting in this movie, which brought the 30's life perfectly. Like watching those old painting/posters on that time period. Also facsinating story to me about a young guy, who's building his career in movie business in Hollywood. This is a perfect movie for those, who loves Hollywood, movies and its glamour. Shared With Milady"

"Woody Allen's best film since Blue Jasmine, Cafe Society also finds the director at his most charming, warm, and luminous. The period setting and costumes make for a welcome environment to get lost in. The cast is no small order, but Kristen Stewart is by fire the standout. One of her least affected performances that shows just how great of an actress is. Visually gorgeous, romantic, and a lovely entertainment. As light as a souffle, but rich in its various rewards. "

"2016 Woody Allen's latest is a sign he still has a knack for awkward humor and witty dialogue. Not much for a plot and Carell's character takes some getting used to; but was all good in the end. - Comedy - Writing - Supporting Actor - Costume Design "
