Description: Gwen is a woman who seems to have everything together in her life. She’s beautiful, young, has amazing friends and an even more amazing boyfriend who loves her deeply. There’s only one “problem” – Gwen is deaf. Her well-meaning family opted to “mainstream” her by forcing her to attend public schools instead of Deaf schools and to learn how to read lips rather than speak American Sign Language.
