Diminishing returns, but still likable

It definitely suffers from sequelitis. The action is more cartoony, the humor is a bit broader, everythings just more over the top. There's one segment in Paris where I thought I was watchiing the BLUES BROTHERS.For all that it does deliver car action in spades. Emma Sjöberg and Marion Cotillard are easy on the eyes too, though Cotillard's role is way underwritten.

How the hell did I actually ended up watching this flick?!? Indeed, I seriously despised the first installment and even though it was a massive success in France, I thought it was easily one of the most overrated movies ever produced so I should probably have avoided this sequel. The whole story was, in fact, that I was able to buy the 1st three movies on DVD and they were just 1 euro for each so ... read more

" It was actually directed by Gérard Krawczyk. Luc Besson wrote and produced this movie. The worst thing about this flick, in my opinion, was how Marion Cotillard, probably the best French actress of the last decade, was completely wasted here. Indeed, she was probably the only redeeming feature in this whole franchise and, here, she was basically stuck at home waiting the whole freaking day that the lead character would come back. I mean, seriously?!? That's the best thing they could come up"
