This movie was also written by Callie Khouri who won just a couple of years before an Academy Award for writing ‘Thelma & Louise’ and there was a high-profile cast involved (Julia Roberts, Dennis Quaid, Robert Duvall, Gena Rowlands, Gena Rowlands) so the expectations were pretty high.
