“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but it always seemed to be intriguing to me, especially since it was directed by Ben Wheatley, so I thought I might as well check it out. Well, it turned out to be a pretty neat dark comedy with an almost pitch-perfect tone. Indeed, it could have easily been too mean and the two main characters could have become too dislikeable or even even despicable but they never crossed this line which was very well done, in my opinion. It was also refreshing that the two main characters seemed to be very average, played by two fairly unknown actors, and yet they were always entertaining to behold.
