Is it possible for someone to love a film which borders on violence and gunfights? Yes, it is, since I absobloodylutely love this film to death. "Re-watch - Dec. 28th I'd initially wanted to watch Shoot 'Em Up when I got to the end of Sin City, but sleep won out that night. It's still a super fun, super silly film that I love warts and all. Owen and Giamatti are both clearly having a blast with their respective roles, which makes the film all the more enjoyable. I was glad I still appreciated it, as a lot of gun-violence-heavy films tend to fall flat for me now. I think this one gets a pass due to the absurdity of it all. Which is fine. "
