"Okay, I absolutely loved this one. I loved the thriller aspect, the sci-fi aspect, the romance aspect. Just loved."

"Watched 03/15/2017 Rating 5.0/10 Format: Blu Ray If you changed a couple things with the script like actually making the journey of the characters purposeful and less romance BS this could have been a decent sci-fi which is a shame as i liked the score and the visuals of space. "

"March 5th Director: Morten Tyldum Was actually better than expected. I really liked 'The Shining' nods it gave."
“Notes:
*I have been meaning to watch this for a bit now.
*My dad shared the trailer and upon checking it out I thought it would be interesting.
*I really like the main stars of course.
*Morten Tyldum also directed The Imitation Game which got nominated for several awards.
*I just watched Doctor Strange last month which was also written by Jon Spaihts.
*So let's finally see how this fairs with such talent.
Pros:
*It really is like a space version of Titanic just with a "happier" ending.
*The acting was great and the characters were likable.

" 5 March. An interstellar colony starship on its maiden voyage experiences a malfunction, causing one of its cryo-frozen passengers to wake up prematurely, with 99 years to go before landfall. This sci-fi looked to have everything: grand visual effects, amazing visual sets and futuristic tech of our wildest imagination. And the thing that seemed to be lacking is the chemistry between the two leads, not that memorable as a couple, Lawrence and Pratt just didn't work as a team."

"6 / 10 - I didn't have much expectations but it wasn't that bad. I am not a fan of Jennifer Lawrence but she doesn't do a bad work. Overall, it is a barely average movie. Not too good neither too bad. I felt like there wasn't much chemistry between both actors which is a turn down and the film was slow and many times kinds boring but I was able to enjoy some parts as well. "

"When: February 15th First-Time Viewing: Yes. How: In theaters. What'd I Think?: A flawed, but entertaining, beautiful looking Sci-Fi romance. My Rating: 7/10 Other Notes: NA."

" It's supposed to be a tribute to Stanley Kubrick - a little of 2001: A Space Odyssey, the bar set resambling the one in Shining - but actually Passengers is disappointing, often boring and generally closer to a young adult flick than a real sci-fi movie. "
