Description:
"It is the Cold war period. Everybody is a suspect in Norway. Time and again there is news about state secrets being sold to an eastern or western power. In 1984, it turned out that diplomat Arne Treholt was one of those disloyal to the government. A year later, he was convicted to 20 years in prison on the basis of accusations of collaboration with the Soviets and Iraq. In 1992 he was released from prison. 14 years later, Thomas Malling dedicated a book, and subsequently a film, to Treholt, presenting him as a patriot commanding a ninja warrior clan.
