"Format: Blu-Ray Viewing: 1st Thoughts: I'm a sucker for Hanks and I found this to be a fairly solid and enjoyable Western. Nice to see him working with a child actor again, kind of reminded me of Road To Perdition. The story is pretty simple, Captain Kidd (a kind of news reporter of his day) finds a lost child and is tasked with taking the perilous journey of bringing her back home. The young German actress who plays Johanna has this other-worldly look about her, and she was absolutely fantastic"
