"Podrá tener una animación muy limitada con inconsistencias en el dibujo y una trama poco lineal (pero fue la primera película del estudio Chibli, hecha digitalmente y al menos es un anime de comedia familiar muy similar a las situaciones cuotidianas japonesas de Shin Chan, pero sin llegar al plagio). Sus personajes más carismáticos son la Abuela Shinge, Takashi, el vecino de los Yamada y Nonoko pese a que sale menos y no tiene casi diálogo. Lo malo es que tiene un doblaje latino horrible "
