Lo mejor de Jodorowsky. Cronológica, maravillada sin excederse en detalles pues todos fluyen de lo más bien en el absorvente paisaje de Tocopilla. Ni se siente lo episódico. Me encanta el detalle de la esposa cantando todos sus parlamentos. La vuelta a la semilla de Jodorowski.

Alejandro Jodorowsky was born in 1929 in Tocopilla, a coastal town on edge of the Chilean desert, where this film was shot. It was there where he discovered the fundamentals of reality, as he underwent an unhappy and alienated childhood as part of an uprooted family

"29.10. Yle Areena Ylitettyään chileläisen eliniän odotuksen noin kaksinkertaisesti, alkoi Jodorowsky vähän hassuttelemaan. Surrealismi on niin vahvasti kiinni kerronnassa, vailla irrallisuuksia, että kyllä tuo tällaista vanhaa Jodo-fania lämmitti. Sen sijaan Jodon itsensä ajoittainen pomppiminen ruudulla tuntui vähän kornilta ja harmitti.
