Description:
"The protagonist of this balladistic film drama, Kós Ferenc, returns from the Soviet Union where he was a POW. He is trying to establish a home and start a new life in his house north of Lake Balaton. While he was away, his wife died and his little son had been reared by his sister-in-law, the hunch-backed Tera. Tera nurses Ferenc with loving devotion, and the man seems to be recollecting his lost strength. Everybody encourages him to marry again, and he eventually finds a suitable wife, Zsuzsa.
