"February 4th Directed by: Nobuhiko Obayashi Uhh... what? I have no idea what was happening at any given moment, aside from a couple of moments, visually it had that glossy digital feel that pretty much all modern Japanese movies have and it felt overlong. I really don't feel that every scene in this movie was necessary but I probably feel that way because I didn't understand the intent of any single scene. I wasn't a huge fan of House the first time I saw it and I know that shit's a masterpiec"

"1.28 Nobuhiko Obayashi, 2017 I don't know how he managed to take all his tricks from Hausu and make something this genuinely effective and emotional but wow this hit me hard. This is just beautiful and entertaining as hell for the whole nearly 3 hour run-time. This is how you pace a film people. "
