" Grumpy Old Men is a 1993 American romantic comedy film directed by Donald Petrie, written by Mark Steven Johnson, and starring Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Ann-Margret, Burgess Meredith, Daryl Hannah, Kevin Pollak, Ossie Davis, and Buck Henry. It was followed by the sequel Grumpier Old Men. This cheerful holiday comedy, a surprise box office smash, featured a generous dollop of raunchy, crude humor and was greatly elevated by the presence of masterful performers in the lead roles. A lifel"

"Format: DVD Viewing: Umpteenth Thoughts: Decided to go back and watch these movies because they are just so damn cozy and man what a comedy team Lemmon and Matthau were! The winter setting definitely adds impact to the emotions here, and it's just one of those movies you don't want to end and you can stay in it forever. Burgess Meredith is hilarious and steals every scene he's in, shame he didn't get more screen time. This movie is a somewhat forgotten classic and still holds up well today."
