I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was starring Angelina Jolie and since it seemed to have a decent reputation, I was quite eager to check it out. Description: Gia Carangi (Angelina Jolie) is a Philadelphia native who moves to New York City to become a fashion model and immediately catches the attention of powerful agent Wilhelmina Cooper (Faye Dunaway). “I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was starring Angelina Jolie and since it seemed to have a decent reputation, I was quite eager to check it out. First of all, I have to admit that I didn’t know much about Gia Carangi and it was pretty cool to get to know her. However, to be honest, I was actually surprised by how disappointing the damned thing was after all though. Basically, it turned out to be a rather average TV feature and not really much better than that. First of all, you had this really cheesy jazz soundtrack which is quite typical for this kind of cheap-ass movies.
