“To be honest, it has been a while since I saw this flick. In fact, if I recall it correctly, I actually even saw it in the movie theater when it was released. Even though it might seem weird that a 12 year old boy would watch something like this, somehow, it still made sense, at least, to me. Indeed, since there was some Science-Fictions elements involved (it was dealing with a guy from the 30’s going into cryogenic sleep and waking up in the 90’s) so it must have sounded pretty neat to me. However, I didn’t notice that it was also a romance and this aspect didn’t really work for me, I’m afraid. I mean, I have to admit it, to mix a romantic tale with some SF was an interesting concept but, in my opinion, the love story was just way to cheesy. At least, Mel Gibson was a very good ” read more
