"Release Date: 1917 The first animated feature film in history, it was produced in Argentina and was a political satire of the then president Hipólito Yrigoyen. The film and all its recorded copies were apparently destroyed in a fire during 1926, and the rest of the celluloids from the tapes were reused to make combs. During a subsequent interview, director Quirino Cristiani showed how he managed to create the animations for his film, which gives us an idea of what the finished film looked like"
