Basically, it is once again one of those really obscure French movies which almost no one has seen here on Listal. Indeed, it is one of those unknow/underrated gem and I'm pretty sure everybody has forgot about it but it's a real shame since I really loved this movie. Could be the best Demy. It's a shame that nouvelle vague has hidden this chef d'ouvre fait coincidentally at its peek. The casino allows Demy to play with ups and downs on existence, in a bipolar nihilistic and romantic extremes. The final is great.
