Assassin's Creed update feed

"Action movie based on a computer game that completely wastes a talented cast led by Michael Fassbender as a prisoner sent through time to become an assassin during the Spanish Inquisition. While the action scenes are fine, the story is a mess and as you watch the film, you ask yourself the question, how much money did they pay this great cast to spout terrible dialogue and look mean and moody. " DVD- 1hr. 55min. First Viewing There are some pretty cool visuals in Assassin's Creed, as well as a few solid action sequences, but the story is just so damn dull and and so damn pedestrian. We've seen stories like this (not exactly, obviously, but the same basic outline) that a movie has to work harder to thrill, and Creed does not. The video game adaptation curse continues. " Notes: Before this movie was released, there was a decent buzz and many were hoping that it would manage to avoid the curse around most of the video-games movie adaptation. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge critical flop and since it didn't do well at the box-office at all, we won't get to see another movie dealing with this video-game anytime soon. As far as I was concerned, I thought it was visually pretty neat but even though Michael Fassbender tried really hard, the story turned ou"

"Most of the crowd wasn't too bad, but there were a group of teenagers sitting right behind me, who talked to each other a lot during this movie (the girls of the group, at the very least, were trying to shut the guys up). I did at several points think about getting a manager to get them to shut up, but I eventually just let it go."

"02.06.2017 Very nice fights, stunts and costumes. The story is average. my rating: 7,0"

"If you are a fan of the game series the movie is pretty good and you can follow it easily but if you aren't there is way too much information missing. The Apple of Eden especially sticks out since acquiring that is the main goal of the templars. It's powers and origins arent introduced to new viewers at all. The characters in the past aren't really even introduced... Like at all. Aguilar is the only one whose name was even mentioned. When you think of the games the characters in the Animus are a"

"Watched 03/22/2017 Rating 5.0/10 Format: Blu Ray The constant switch from past to present really made the movie drag and i hated the color tint they used just ruined the felling. "

"Películas de videojuegos y su eterna maldición, esta era la oportunidad pero no fue nada solo una pelicula palomera e intrascendente pues no cambia ni afecta la larga historia o trama del juego, pero no se esfuerza lo suficiente para ser entretenida o para hacer algo nuevo con la saga. Simplemente termina siendo una pelicula mas con un final como los de siempre abierto para continuar. "
“Notes:
*You know before this was thought up I do recall talking to my friends and mentioning that if I were to cast someone in a live action Assassin's Creed it would be Michael Fassbender.
*I feel like casting is my calling given the circumstances lol.
*It has a pretty interesting cast with a wide range of recognizable names and faces.
*This is directed by Justin Kurzel who also did Snowtown and the very strange Fassbender Macbeth film.
*Michael Lesslie also wrote Macbeth for Justin Kurzel.
*Adam Cooper and Bill Collage have worked on several films together including Exodus: Gods and Kings, Accepted, and Tower Heist.
*Critics and such don't like this one and video game movies hardly ever get a good note.
