The Old Summer (Régi nyár) (1942)

Péter Tamássy is not satisfied with his son's education. Miklós is only interested in the estate. The neighbouring landowner's daughter, Jutka Szilágyi returns home from boarding school. Her parents want her to marry Miklós, but the youths feel differently. Tamássy would like to introduce his son in the Pest society, especially since he could entrust his education to his ex-lover Marika, the prima donna.
