She learned the business from the bottom up, First Interning at a Local TV station, Then heading to Los Angeles for a prestigious internship with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, That turned into a full-time job writing for E! Entertainment, Hoping to make a difference by the stories she tells, Maggie turned to hard news, rising from a small market where she anchored, reported, shot, edited and produced at KQTV in St. Joseph, MO, These skills propelled her to WINK-TV, The CBS affiliate in Fort Myers, FL, Where she quickly became the lead reporter for the station's nightly newscasts.
Maggie has covered multiple high-profile, death-penalty trials, a police officer shot dead in the streets of Downtown Fort Myers, The fortclosure of Chinese Drywall crisis that has gripped Southwest Florida, The Discovery of two bodies buried in a backyard and the capture of a man who admitted to killing his wife and five children before fleeing to haiti.
On a lighter note, Maggie has also had a lot of fun on live TV, She been made up like a cast member of the "Musical Cats", Helped pull a tooth of an alligator and reported live in the "Sphere Of Doom" with motorbikes riding her head.
In 2010, The Associated Press of Florida recognized Maggie with First Place awards for Best Individual Achievement for Best Hard News Feature.

Maggie Graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Louis University in 2004, with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, She sits on the Advisory Boards for St. Louis University's Communication Department as well as that of Kids Rock Cancer, She eager to get involved once again with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Friends of Kids with Cancer.
