Super Princess Peach - Nintendo DS
On one ocassion the damesel in distress got her time to shine completely! How can we say this game plays? Like a Yoshi Iland? Wario Land? Mario Bros 2/USA? No! It plays like Super Princess Peach! Brought to you by Tose, a humble nintendo second party, who you may remember from titles such Game & Watch Gallery or Legendary Starfy. Tose mixes up all of their identity onto this game, a polished adventure and many many minigames to spend some time, while getting the fullest out of Nintendo Ds system. An overall good and intuitive design in which you pass from doing commands to touch the screen in a natural manner. Spritework that's abundant, adorable and colorful and a sound design that takes us to the fun enviorment. Tose makes it's Magus Opus with a solid adventure for one of the most loved female characters

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - Nintendo DS
Apollo Justice it's a big disaster for the Ace Attorney franchise, after a rough and precary state of development, the new story manages to see the light through an immpecable presentation. Taking advantage from the DS memory space with new polished graphics, fluid animations, and smooth tunes to carry on an ambitious narrative. Sadly the sins of its production fall in its story, having unfullfilled themes and a lack of character development with a hasty resolution to the barely developed main conflict. Gameplay wise? Same repercussion, both returning game antiques and new features are tedious with a design plan that stands out not for being intuitive, but instead unclear, rough and tiresome.

Ace Attorney Trilogy grand-ending! does it make justice to what their predecessors have built and achived? Unfortunately T&T is an step back in terms of story and gameplay. Its game scheme lacks of any new addition, holding only of what the past brother games established, still managing to worse the game design with incoherent answer options; Story lacks any development in our cast and the new narrative revelations are forced and taken out of proportion.
Trials and Tribulations outstands by the presentation, forcing its mother system to do the imposible and maintaining the graphical and auditive charm of this series.
Not really a deserving finale, but still a competent game filled with am story of thrilling emotions.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All... - Nintendo DS
A big improvement of first game mechanics, with addition of puzzle's and more evidence options. Story isn't left behind by exploring more of the human side of characters, victims and defendats. Even going trough as exposing grey moral conflicts situations.
An overall worthy sequel: Lovable characters and intruiguing puzzle's.

Shu Takumi sensei theory of visual novels applied in such a beautiful manner. Point and Click adventure carried by lovable characters filled with personality and charisma, giving smart humor and complex yet simple dialogues. Story that makes the player hold into its seat through an roller coaester journey of logical assumption application.
These handful of ports take the DS system to the fullest, making an intuitive friendly gameplay, re-builtten graphics and subtle arrangements. Any DS would be optimal for this franchise.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - Nintendo Wii U
Retro managing to outstand Rare by making one of the best platformer games from all the time.
Brilliant level design: Fair challenging difficulty in platforming with a mix of variety and creativity; Smooth responsive comands that gaves the player an intuitive and natural control; Gorgeous visuals full of love and detail; Lovable characters; Unforgettable beautiful music that manages not only to re-capture the majesty of it's SNES predecessors but also made it's own new identity and priceless value.
A truly underrated gem victim of the community hypocrisy

Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure - PlayStation Portable
Forgotten 3d platformer with some aspects taken from the role genre. Gameplay can got repetitive at long walktrough. Very Cute visuals. It deserves some attention specially because of his unforgettable OST

Undertale - PC Games
Beautiful indie made with love: an inovative combat system, charming visuals and immortal ost.
A shame that the Genocide route ruins his perfection by an advance system of just grinding everywhere (the worst mistake for an RPG)

Manabu's rating:

LISA: The Joyful - PC Games
Hideous Finale for the series: Unfullfilled ambitious of themes and ambience, repetitive gameplay, very bad story writing and low production values (even for an indie game). The amazing soundtrack and some of the story bites saves the game... just a bit...
Manabu's rating:

LISA - PC Games
The most depressing, degrading and disturbing journey you'll ever experience
Manabu's rating:

LISA: The First - PC Games
A Yume Nikki inspired game with degrading characters, lots of grotesque themes and amazing soundtrack. Not with the brilliant execution of the other one and both visuals and gameplay are pretty irregular.
