songs are surprisingly catchy and aren't half as annoying as one would expect) the storyline is a bit blurred though...oh and the music itself feels a little dated, 70's-like...but Baloo and his Bare Necessities just won me over)

Oh my God this movie is so incredible!!!
Turns out I have seen it already long time ago and I've completely forgotten all about it! I vaguely remember the scenes where they taught him to speak, but I always thought it was from Tarzan! (which reminds me...))
But his "Papoo!" refreshed my memory and then I was overwhelmed by it's captivating charm! The editing is so slick, there's not a single awkward pause in the way of storytelling, everything is just right! I wouldn't expect the movie with animals to be so believable! The scenes where tiger chases someone or wolf attacks somebody, it's really there, it's happening!
The story is based mostly around the humans, not an animals, and that's a good thing, too! It has a depth one would not expect to find in a "fairy-tale" like this... Oh and Sam Neil is here!)) What a pleasant surprise) City csenes reminded me of Prince Of Persia games a lot, a bits of Aladdin is here, also...
Jokes!!! Those aren't your usual slapstick-comedy cliches, but rather clever and endearing smile-inducing turns)) Oh and the hero himself, his mimics and the overall wildness mixed with tenderness, playfulness and wisdom is something one shouldn't overlook...

It was quite alright, seeing Alan Grant here again is a delight, along with a subtle touches of mystery...

Dinosaur (of the unknown species I presume) with a cellphone INSIDE of him is a very clever idea!))

Though the dinosaurs themselves weren't half as scary as the ones in the first movie...

The rest of the cast is so underdeveloped though... All this family drama bits are just uninvolving when all the characters are so bland and awkward...

The scenery is changing so rapidly that there's no sense of space, it's like a compilation of different misadventures on various locations...first the ocean, then the jungle, then suddenly a misty bird cages, then the river, where the underwater scenes look better than the ones in the rain, and then a bit of jungles again, with an abrupt raptors encounter and an ocean again, which always means that the ending is near...

The ending is quite memorable though!

Every ending with the birds in it is great))
