My choices for the funniest television ever in the half-hour format (this allows for the inclusion of my top 3 entries which -- while technically considered "sketch" comedy -- do feature their own separate sensibility and world-view and include both recurring characters and character types, likewise, I have listed my 3 choices of animation comedy together as they could arguably be considered wrongly included in terms of genre but the bottom line is they all make me laugh).
