Laya Aiesha Lewis is a British actress and voice over artist. Born in South London but raised in Bristol, Laya got her start in acting at the age of 18 when she was cast as rebellious, provocative, and fun-loving party animal Olivia "Liv" Malone in the fifth and sixth series of the E4 drama 'Skins' (2007-2013).
Since 'Skins', Lewis has continued working in film and television. Her second most notable role being the titular, protagonist of the biographical short film 'Beverley' (2015) which earned Laya several Best Actress awards, as well as a BBC award for Best Emerging Talent at the 2016 BUFF Awards.
