Kim is an actress, known for Destiny and Fate (1981), Ek Hi Maqsad (1988) and Dilawar (1984).
Was disappointed that producers saw her in supporting roles as the vamp, instead of leading heroine roles, because of her real-life relationship with Danny Denzongpa, an actor known for villainous roles. She said that producers associate vamps with villains, while heroines are associated with leading men.
Changed her name from Satyakim Yashpal to simply " Kim" for her acting career.
Her debut film was to be Awaara Zindagi opposite Sajid Khan. The film was shelved after a few reels were shot.
