Eleanor Perry was an American screenwriter and author best known for her filmmaking partnership with her husband director Frank Perry. They are perhaps best known for their collaboration on the 1962 drama film "David and Lisa", based on the novella "Lisa and David" by psychiatrist and author Dr. Theodore Isaac Rubin. For their work on the film, Frank Perry received an Oscar nomination for Best Director and Eleanor received a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Frank and Eleanor were also uncle and aunt of famed pop singer Katy Perry.
