Stand By Me (Deluxe Edition) Reviews

Great isn't enough of a word to describe this film.
While I'm not a fan of Stephen King, this certainly deserved a chance, especially considering this is _not_ one of his gory stories. (I really don't care for the horror genre.) I remember watching this when I was a kid, and today I still love it. I can't imagine any other actors playing those roles, and they seem to get better every time I watch this! The movie is just brilliant, well-directed, and unforgettable. The soundtrack is awesome. I gave this set (the deluxe edition) 9/10 because the second disc is a little disappointing (it's just a soundtrack CD with 8 songs!). At least this edition has a 32-page booklet with many "goodies" to make up for that disappointing extra disc.
