Dr. Catherine Chun is a Taiwanese computer scientist who served as an Intel. Systems Engineer on PATHOS-II, stationed at Theta. In SOMA, she is the deuteragonist; throughout the course of the game, she acts as Simon Jarrett's guide and sole companion.

Prior to the game's events, she was a spokesperson for the International Asteroid Deflection Program during its operation, part of Omega Management, and later the creator of the ARK project, being its lead developer.
